Breast Cancer Awareness

I know that heart disease is the actual number one killer of women..and there are many other cancers out there....my Mom had Uterine cancer....but she had a hysterectomy and no re-occurrence..although her younger sister passed away at 18 of Leukemia....but Breast Cancer just seems to be so pervasive..I recently attended a funeral for a friend's mom...and Sunday night received a call from a family member...she has just been diagnosed....it's a rare form and invasive.....so today...I ask...

and I'll be ordering a KnittedKnockers kit from Apple Yarns for my relative...right now they are just talking operating and radiation..she's sees her oncologist today...but I think I need to make some knitted knockers for her...
